All of our SummerSpace® retractable awnings are available in a manual or motorized option. Manual units are opened and closed with a hand crank, similar to a skylight. Motorized units are operated via a remote, or wall switch and also come with a manual override & hand crank to allow you to close the awning in the event of a power outage.

The covers we use for our awnings are made out of solution-dyed acrylic that is pretreated for mold and mildew and is available in hundreds of patterns. The acrylic (Tempotest) has the feel and appearance of a traditional canvas but won’t rot like covers of the past.

The frames of our retractable awnings are manufactured with powder-coated aluminum that come in a variety of colors. The powder coat is far superior to a wet paint system and won’t peel or chip.

Retractable awnings are mostly used to shade your deck, patio, porch, or windows and are easily closed and protected during the harsh winter months to maximize the length of your investment.

Retractable awnings can mount to your wall, the bottom of your soffit (Eve/Overhang), or edge of your roof.
